Schrotthagen, the dynamic techno duo consisting of Giovanni Berg (28) and Dieter Schleip (62, multi-award-winning composer and Grimme Prize recipient, according to IMDb), is transforming the electronic music landscape. Drawing from their roots in classical music, jazz, punk, and film scoring, they combine decades of experience to create a unique sound that merges cinematic storytelling with hard techno and trance.
Since their formation in 2023, Schrotthagen has experienced a meteoric rise. Their latest album, Sturm und Drang, marked the start of a sold-out European tour, featuring over 31 stops at clubs and festivals. These successes have led to collaborations with international agencies such as LA’s United Talent Agency, which is representing the duo in both live booking and film scoring. As a result, they are set to perform at renowned festivals, including Ultra Festival in Miami, Peru, and Argentina. A U.S. tour in March 2025 and a nationwide concert tour in Germany starting October 2025 are also in the pipeline. Schrotthagen is now a regular fixture at A-, B-, and C-tier festivals across Europe, North America, and South America.
